New CDs!

I bought them on Amazon:

Rachmaninoff: Vespers (All-Night Vigil)
The Robert Shaw Festival Singers
Conducted by Robert Shaw

Rachmaninoff: Isle of the Dead
Conducted by Vladimir Askenazy

Rachmaninoff: The Bells (Loosely based on the poem by Edgar Allen Poe), Symphonic Dances

The last one is supposedly a Grammy winner. =]

Now if only I could find time....I'm so excited! =]

Mmm. Rachmaninoff: Vespers (All-Night Vigil) sounds especially fascinating, (although I'd like to listen to them all). Would you mind telling me what you think afterwards?

The text and music of Rach's All-Night Vigil is absolutely magical. I was extremely moved. And I haven't even finished it!
